Bio

Gustavo (any pronouns), aka BiLatinBby, is a Brazilian DJ currently based in Chicago.

The name is a nod to an iconic gay Latine adult film studio from the 2000s, both celebrating and challenging public displays of queer sexuality. Their eclectic DJing style blends references from Brazil and Chicago. In the summer, you can also usually find them DJing at their own DIY events, such as “Semi-Hard”, hosted in Chicago's queer beaches, parks and other flirty spots.

They come from Central Brazil's countryside, where powerful automotive sound-systems dominate town squares and inspired their love for electronic music. Gustavo also studied contemporary dance for 8+ years, which deepened their interest in music. In 2017, they immigrated to the U.S. after receiving a full-ride scholarship to study social sciences. In the daytime, Gustavo works with social science research.
